Best food in LA!

1. The Grove Farmer's Market
6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90036
Set up in 1934, it is now a LA landmark, and a great place to spend a day exploring what the city has to offer in terms of food.
With an array of food stalls and sit down eateries, you are sure to find something that appeals to you. The Grove is a great place to get gourmet bottled barbecue sauces, fresh & cured meat, creative desserts, freshly baked bread, gourmet coffees, and so much more!

2. Pink's Hotdogs
709 N La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038, USA
The Famous Pink's Hot Dogs, featured multiple Hollywood movies and food shows, draws a huge line outside the cozy joint every day! I stood in line for more than 30 minutes to get my beautiful hotdog topped with the goodness of onions, tomatoes, and crispy bacon. I really wish I had tried their fries too, but after finishing the hot dog, the thought of standing in line again for so long was the only deterrent for me.
So my advice to you, is to order anything that you think looks good on the menu, because, it definitely is!! I love this place, and it totally lives up to the hype!

3. The Pie Hole
6314 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028
I had stalked The Pie Hole for a long time on Instagram, and seen them featured on various food shows on TV, that I was extremely excited to try out one of their beautiful looking pies!
This is the S'mores pie, with a chocolate ganache and marshmallow fluff, and it was yumm!!! But true to American portion sizing, it was a little big for me to finish in one go, so I packed the leftovers.
They are at multiple locations in LA, so check to see if there is a Pie Hole near you!

4. Grand Central Market
317 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013, USA
Grand Central market in Downtown LA is a feast for your senses! As soon as you walk in you are hit with a heady mix of aromas from South East Asia, South America, and USA! I love the eclectic selection of food stalls here, because there is something for everybody! I got here post lunch, so I tried Mc Connell's ice cream, and it was so beautifully creamy, and so so good! It is the best place for you to stop if you want to be spoilt for choice and want to try more than one cuisine.

5. 25 Degrees at The Roosevelt
7000 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA
When they name a restaurant after the precise temperature between a medium rare and well done piece of meat, you know they are serious about their meat! The burger was beyond perfect! The patty was a juicy medium, the bacon crispy, and the cheese just as I love it- melted! I couldn't have asked for more after the tiring day that I had had!

6. The Hollywood Burger
6250 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA
When you are sightseeing around the Hollywood Walk of Fame and you need a quick bite-The Hollywood burger is THE place to go! The juicy burger is topped with crispy bacon and melted cheese, and topped with beautifully toasted buns! In case you noticed, I order the same burger everywhere-I like my crispy bacon :P

7. C&O Trattoria
31 Washington Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, USA
After all the burgers I was ready for a change, so when I was in Venice Beach, I chose this cute little Italian place that I had read great reviews of, and I was so happy that I did! The pasta was yummy, and in case you weren't full with their large portions of pasta, they throw in a few rolls of garlic bread for free! (they are so good, that you will have to stuff your face with them as well!) So when in Venice Beach, try out the C&O Trattoria, and you won't be disappointed. The outdoor seating area, has such a cute European feel to it, that you might even forget you are in the heart of Venice Beach, California!

8. Magnolia bakery
8389 W. 3rd Street at Orlando St, Los Angeles, CA 90048, USA
For a sweet treat, stop by the famous Magnolia Bakery. I had their rich chocolate cake, and it was the best thing I had that day! But yet again, the slice was so big, that I had to pack the left overs, but I was heartbroken when I lost the bag somewhere at the airport that night! I was all set to have it for dessert after a quick airport dinner.

9. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate shop
6834 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA
I spent so much time inside this shop, it's almost embarrassing! The Dark Chocolate Sea Salt & Caramel is my all time favourite, and I went in so many times to buy my stash! On a rather cool night, I had to have their hot chocolate, and it was the best decision I made that night! :P It was so rich and thick, almost like drinking melted chocolate! They also have a classic hot chocolate which is really good, so give that a try if you don't want something decadent. The chocolate sundaes are a visual treat, but I didn't have it in me to have so much ice cream all on my own, so I couldn't try it- but I'm sure it is as good as everything else that they make- so please give it a try!
