Most beautiful neighbourhoods of London

London is never short of charming neighbourhoods. Victorian terrace houses in pastel hues, historical buildings, century old pubs, all add to the charm of some of the most beautiful neighbourhoods.

When you head out to explore these neighbourhoods, do keep in mind that these are the homes of people, so be careful not to be an intrusion to their privacy and be mindful of your actions when you are there.

1. Hampstead
Flask Walk is street which is a short walk from Hampstead high street, and is dotted with cute shops, second hand book shops, and even magic shops. The road from here towards Hampstead Heath takes you through a neighbourhood of beautiful homes.

2. Notting Hill
One of the most famous areas in London for its beautiful, colourful homes, and its bustling Portobello Market, Notting Hill truly lives up to the hype. I have to say, I love houses with pretty doors, and there are so many of them here!

3. Kensington
Kensington has so many mews streets, royal residences, & sprawling gardens that make it one of the most posh neighbourhoods in the city. The Kensington high street boasts of historical buildings, and shops adorned with flowers.

4. Marylebone
Marylebone boasts of historic buildings, beautiful houses, indie boutiques, and cute cafes & restaurants.

5. Mayfair
One of the poshest neighbourhoods of London, Mayfair exudes elegance! It is lined with beautiful homes and buildings that seem to always have an abundance of flowers all year round! There are some really beautiful pubs in the area as well-you may have even seen some pictures of them!
6. Chelsea
Chelsea has the most colourful homes-it’s a pastel explosion, with houses on the entire street in different shades of pink, blue, green, and yellow. The pastel houses are on Bywater street, and a row of Rainbow houses are on Godfrey street.
7. Primrose Hill
This area has beautiful victorian homes painted in pastel hues. Head to its namesake hilltop park for expansive views of Regent Park.
